Parents of a young boy who sustained severe wounds after being thrown from the top floor of the museum have revealed their "courageous fighter" has achieved his goal of being able to swim, run, and jump again.

This European boy was aged six when he was pushed off a railing by a teenager, then 17.

The boy, who was on holiday with the family in 2019 when targeted, survived a 30-meter drop but experienced permanent harm, including a bleed on the brain and shattered bones.

Parents said in an news on a fundraising platform, they were delighted that he had been able to improve with his swimming, running and jumping before his upcoming surgery.

"He is unable to do it as kids his age, certainly, but we cannot portray what he does in different terms than by terming it's swimming, running, and jumping."

"It's different, just for a couple of yards or a very small height, but it's an remarkable success."

The child, who passed months in critical care, has continued to gain mental stamina.

Parents stated although his recall abilities were still highly constrained, they were operational and improving, so he was "developing a general knowledge at his speed, which progressively enables him to be included with peers."

'Objective Met'

Parents noted: "He's also maturing, and due to his therapy with the physical therapist, he presently enables himself to unwind."

"Before, to compensate for his disability on the left side, he held his right side continuously stiff, which caused him suffering."

"Now, our growing child (we have to face the facts, he's grown up any longer) has realized that he needs to allow himself rests; we have to remind him less often."

Additionally, he has achieved a long-standing objective with dad: "Since we reside a short distance from the ocean, they had established their ultimate aim of taking a picnic at the beach and then coming back."

"Following multiple progressive training sessions, they ultimately achieved their two-and-a-half-hour excursion. They returned exhausted but delighted. Goal achieved."

Following a trial at the Old Bailey, the youth was convicted of attempted murder and was jailed in 2020 for at least a decade and a half.
