Automobiles in German Town Discovered Covered with Swastikas in Human Blood, Law Enforcement State

Police reported they were contacted by a man who found a car in Hanau covered with reddish substance

Approximately 50 cars have been covered with what appears to be blood from a person in the German town of Hanau in proximity to Frankfurt, police confirm law enforcement.

Automobiles, building surfaces and mailboxes were marked, in some cases with swastikas, they stated in a release.

Police state they were notified in the late hours on Wednesday, when a man discovered that a automobile in the Lamboy neighborhood of Hanau had been smeared with a red-colored substance.

The substance had been placed in the form of a Nazi symbol, they stated.

Police then discovered many other vandalized cars and residential walls in the surrounding area.

These symbols are illegal in Germany under regulations prohibiting the public display of Nazi-era symbols.

Officials say early analysis show the substance was probably human bodily fluid.

"At present there remains no clue as to its origin; officials are presently not cognizant of any injuries in relation with the occurrence," they commented.

City officials said they were working "to unravel the case" and have asked to the public for tips.

An important representative commented the vandalism made him stunned and needed to be addressed rapidly.

"This event affects the very heart of Hanau and reawakens the pain of the far-right violent incident half a decade ago," he posted on online, referring to the death of nine individuals by a shooter aiming at individuals of immigrant origin in 2020.
